About the Event

Outline

  • Basic leather crafting techniques such as, what is a leather pricking iron (prongs), difference between linen/polyester thread, saddle stitching, etc
  • A cardholder (approximately 6.5cm X 9.5cm in size) which consists of 1 card slot compartment to be able to hold a maximum of 2-3 cards
  • Duration: 30-60mins 

Tools & Materials Needed:

Leather (Provided; A5 in side; colours varies on the day itself)

Needles (Provided)

Thread (Provided; colours varies on the day itself)

Mallet (Provided but have to share during the session)

Leather Pricking Iron (Provided but have to share during the session)

CMC Edge Burnishing Gum and Slicker Tool (Provided but have to share during the session; Optional)

 

Cutting Mat (Bring your own)

Pen Knife (Bring your own)

White Glue (Bring your own)

Sand Paper (Bring your own. Optional. If you wish to achieve a smooth and nice edge)
